Night Vision RBC

I can’t believe that summer is almost over, and unfortunately all of the festivals will soon be gone with it. This has been one of the busiest summers yet. I haven’t had any time to sleep yet, but I feel like a lot was accomplished. From paintings, to markets, to new jobs, to crazy trips in the adventure wagon, we did it all!

Amidst all of the shenanigans I somehow managed to pump out a few new paintings. This Sunday I’ll be showcasing my art at the festival Marda Gras in Inglewood and there I will debut these two finished paintings. Along with the originals I’ll be selling framed prints as well as high quality giclee’s. Come check it out!

I’m quite proud of these ones. I feel like they really capture the feelings that I was going through at the time. It might be a strange thing to say, but, I feel like I “miss” nature. Living in the city often feels unnatural to me. I miss the trees, mountains, lakes, wind, and the sound of crickets singing you to sleep. I don’t feel like I belong in this city and I think these paintings might be some sort of indication that I should do something about that lol

Let me know what you think 🙂
